Sono un fotografo e il mio lavoro nasce dall’osservazione di come lo spazio plasmi la presenza umana.

Fotografo luoghi di transito, architetture e scene quotidiane perché è lì che le persone, spesso senza accorgersene, rivelano il proprio modo di abitare il mondo. Cerco situazioni in cui lo spazio riveli qualcosa delle persone che lo attraversano.

Nelle mie fotografie l’architettura non è una cornice, ma una presenza attiva: può organizzare la scena, determinare le relazioni, alterare la percezione del soggetto o diventare essa stessa protagonista.

Lavoro tra street photography, ritratto e ricerca personale, sviluppando progetti costruiti nel tempo piuttosto che singole fotografie. È in quel tempo che le relazioni tra spazio e persone si rivelano e acquisiscono significato.

È questo che mi spinge a fotografare: cercare immagini in cui chi osserva possa riconoscere non tanto un luogo, quanto una condizione, una sensazione o un frammento della propria esperienza, ritrovando, anche solo per un istante, qualcosa di familiare.

I am a photographer, and my work stems from observing how space shapes human presence.

I photograph transit spaces, architecture, and everyday scenes because it is there that people, often without realizing it, reveal the way they inhabit the world. I look for situations in which space reveals something about the people who move through it.

In my photographs, architecture is not merely a backdrop but an active presence. It can organize the scene, define relationships, alter the perception of the subject, or become the subject itself.

My practice spans street photography, portraiture, and personal research, with a focus on developing long-term projects rather than individual images. It is over time that the relationships between people and space gradually emerge and acquire meaning.

This is what drives my work: creating images in which viewers can recognize not so much a place, but a condition, a feeling, or a fragment of their own experience—finding, if only for a moment, something familiar.
